Kate Thurston

Kate graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2001 and rejoined the team at Scarsdale in 2008 after 4 years working in equine practice in Lancashire. Kate has gained two advanced veterinary practice certificates from the RCVS, equine dentistry in 2018 and equine soft tissue surgery in 2021 and was awarded advanced practitioner status in equine dentistry in 2018

Kate enjoys all aspects of equine work with particular interest in dentistry, wound healing and geriatric care.

Away from work Kate likes keeping fit, reading, open water swimming and all sorts of crafting.
